Oh my, how Suva has grown
Once regarded as a colonial south sea township, Suva is rapidly expanding, turning into a cosmopolitan city and regarded by many as the capital not only of Fiji, but of the South Pacific. But it is running out of land and space to accommodate its growth, and in danger of losing its scenic waterfront character. Packed tightly together at the base, with a growing number of high-rises shooting up towards the sky, the city is bursting at the seams...
