Exclusive Interview - George Simpkin
Guiding to glory in 87

George Simpkin coached Fiji to the first ever Rugby World Cup in 1987. Rugby was still an amateur sport then and the Fiji team exceeded all expectations by reaching the quarterfinals, beating Argentina and Italy along the way and coming close to defeating France, had Severo Koroduadua not lost the ball as he was diving over the try line. 20 years after that great performance, Mai Life tracked George Simpkin down to a hotel in Shen Zhen, China as he was about to leave for India, and asked him to share a few of those great moments with us.
