BLK Hands Over Uniforms to Coke Games Champions

With less than 48 hours to go until the commencement of the 2017 Coca Cola Games, the defending girls’ division champions – Jasper Williams High School, were presented with their brand new athletics kit.

Beyond Limits Known (BLK) representative Liga Gukisuva said they were “so blessed by this sponsorship opportunity”.

As a successful company it was down to the girls’ ability on the track that guaranteed them this strong partnership.

The 65 Jasper William High School athletes were presented with their new kit, comprising of a jersey, track vest and shorts. Sporting the purple and yellow school colours the 2016 defending champions chanted a gospel song to the delight of the media.

Tuliana Buli, an old scholar residing in United Kingdon who is here especially for the special event claimed she felt privileged to be here. Having always had education as a primary focus, she felt the move towards recognising sport as a valuable means of development was an important statement for the girls of Jasper Williams.

She stated that the 2017 games were an opportunity for the defending champions to prove they’re “still the best in Fiji”, but that it was important for the athletes to take each day as it comes, focusing on the events ahead.
