DISCIPLINE TO GO UP A NOTCH.

MEMBERS of the public have reminded Fiji 7s national coach Gareth Baber the need to have discipline in the team.

“I am not sure what they mean but what it means to me is that a player needs to look after the team before they look after themselves,” Baber said.

Baber added players need to have discipline on and off the field.

The discipline issue came to light after three players Apisai Domolailai, Vatemo Ravouvou and John Stewart were dropped from the squad because of disciplinary issues.

Baber said all the players selected into the national squad must follow the code of conduct that they have set as a group of players.

“The players must understand that they are representing Fiji at an international stage as it should be represented.”

Baber added one of the main qualities he also looks for in a player is discipline.
