Live streaming for Bayleys Coral Coast Sevens

Telecom Fiji Limited will live stream one of the most eagerly-awaited tournaments in Fiji, the Bayleys Coral Coast Sevens, from today (Thursday, 13 November).

The stream shall be made available to people outside Fiji on https://my.tfl.com.fj at no cost meaning rugby sevens fans across the globe can watch from the comfort of their own homes.

Telecom Fiji Chief Executive Officer Mothilal De Silva said: “An online broadcast is a dynamic, flexible and connected way to make live events available to global audiences whilst providing a more engaging viewer experience.

“We are happy to have recorded a growing number of local and international viewers on the Telecom Fiji portal previously and it is great a feeling to know that people are interested to know what is happening in Fiji. It is true that the sports connects people around the world, regardless of gender, age, race, status and strata.”

The Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast Sevens features 24 men’s and 16 women’s teams and takes place over three days at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.  Teams from New Zealand, Samoa, Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia and the USA, along with the best of the best from Fiji, will compete for a superb $72,000 prize pool.

The first match kicks off this hour with the Cup Final scheduled for 5.30pm on Saturday.
