AFTER mesmerising customers with stylish and elegant handbags and accessories for the past 15-years, Australia’s iconic brand – Vera May has rolled out a great range of shoes to suit all occasions.

The new range which showcases the latest, ultra-modern designs and global style incorporating Australian and European quality standards and design concepts was launched at the Prouds Suva Central store on Thursday, May 4 and coincided with the themed ‘Ladies Night Out’ event which is hosted by the outlet annually.

“Our store was a hive of activity and customers came in good numbers to witness the unveiling of the various ranges of Vera May shoes,” Prouds Suva Central manager Nilesh Chand said.

Mr Chand said a lot of customers have purchased from the new collection following the launching last week.

“The response from customers has been overwhelming. For those who have not seen the new arrivals yet, please feel free to visit us at Prouds Suva Central or Prouds Downtown Nadi to go through the impressive range which is ideal for work, party, casual-wear or just to make a fashion statement.”

Prouds category leader fashion, Rohinesh Prakash said the new range of heels, flats, wedges and sandals take the Vera May brand to a whole new level.

“Each footwear range has been designed exclusively for the international market, and each range complements the exquisite and iconic Vera May Australian designer handbags and wallets.

“If you are looking at giving yourself a treat or gifting something stylish to your mum this Sunday, the new range of Vera May shoes is definitely a fitting match,” Mr Prakash said.

Meanwhile, Vera May director Peter Saifi has also expressed his excitement with the launching of the new range in Fiji and other international markets.

“Vera May shoes were launched in early 2017. We decided to advance the Vera May brand into shoes after the demand from our vast array of customers became apparent,” Mr Saifi who is based in Australia said.

He said while the brand is increasingly popular of handbags and accessories originating in Australia and expanding internationally, the exciting new expansion of shoes has been well received in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia and other South Pacific regions.

“The Vera May design team are constantly working on new designs and are consistently creating product of high quality and comfortability while ensuring new fashion trends and lifestyle needs are met with each new stunning design and collection.
